C2MI is an international center for collaboration and innovation in the field of MEMS manufacturing and packaging of complex systems (Advanced Packaging). It is the essential link between applied research and the commercialization of microelectronics products.
Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, the Director, Business Development will be responsible for raising awareness of C2MI at the Canadian and global level, promoting the technical activities that take place there, and soliciting clients to bring their development and prototyping projects at C2MI, while supporting the Centre’s current customers through their activities.
Responsibilities
• Present and promote C2MI’s offer in client organizations or related organizations with the aim of expanding the number of C2MI projects from existing clients;
• Support the development projects of its clients at the Centre and participate in discussions with the technical team;
• Validate, define and structure projects for its clients to promote them within the ecosystem;
• Identify new markets, opportunities or potential customers of C2MI;
• Assist and represent C2MI at industry technical conferences to publicize the C2MI offer;
• Inform, support and support the Canadian members of C2MI in order to enable them to obtain a grant through our Financial Marketing Support Program (CECR);
• Ensure a watch, keep abreast of new developments in the fields of electronics and microelectronics as well as new players who could become industrial customers of C2MI;
• Work with the Vice President, Business Development to enhance or modify C2MI’s offer to attract a larger pool of potential industrial clients;
• Participate in developing the materials needed to promote C2MI activities at the laboratory services level;
• Participate in regular business reviews with the Vice President, Business Development;
• Assume all other tasks entrusted by his immediate superior in his field of competence.
• 4 to 10 years of experience in customer relations in a similar or related field;
• Experience in identifying decision makers in companies;
• Strong skills for sales and customer service;
• Knowledge of the market and key players in the electronics and microelectronics markets;
• Ability for teamwork;
• Experience in the high technology manufacturing environment;
• Bilingual (French and English) written and oral;
• Open to traveling (10% to 15% of the time).
