Job description
We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our Business Development team. Reporting to the Vice-President Business Development, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting C2MI both in Canada and worldwide, promote technical activities and approach customers to bring development and prototyping projects to C2MI, while supporting the company’s current customers in their activities.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Present and promote the C2MI’s capabilities, with the objective of broadening its industrial customer base in all areas of the company’s activity ;
- Introduce and promote the capabilities of C2MI within entrusted client organizations or in other related organizations, with the goal of broadening the number of C2MI projects from existing clients ;
- Support customer development projects and participate in meetings with the technical team ;
- Attend and represent C2MI at industry technical conferences to promote C2MI’s offering ;
- Keep an eye on the latest developments in electronics and microelectronics, as well as on new players who could become C2MI industrial partners or customers ;
- Work closely with the team to enhance or improve C2MI’s capabilities to attract a broader spectrum of potential industrial customers ;
- Participate in regular business progress reviews
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in science (physics or chemistry) or engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical or physics);
- Experience required: minimum 5 years in microelectronics;
- Knowledge of disciplines related to the company’s activities, as well as knowledge of the market and key players in microelectronics;
- Ability to identify decision-makers within companies;
- Strong negotiation, communication and teamwork skills;
- Understanding of company resources, priorities, policies and needs;
- Help in shaping corporate strategies and solve technical or operational problems.
